Kings of the Flat (Saskatchewan Anthem)

By: Heavy Sour

Rollin’ down the highway, Trans-Canada lane,
Got a cooler full of Pil, got the Riders game.
Bunny hug on, ‘cause the wind cuts deep,
But we ain't slowin’ down, got a farm to keep!

Saskatoon berries, yeah, they're sweet as sin,
But Regina rhymes with… well, let’s dive right in!
Al Capone tunnels, secret deals went down,
Now we smuggle beer through these small farm towns.

Flatland flex, we’re built to last,
Winter comes quick, but we ain’t outclassed.
Redneck pride, from dusk ‘til dawn,
Ain’t nothin’ tougher than Saskatchewan!

Oh! (HEY!) We’re the kings of the flat!
Bunny hugs on, with a Pilsner in the back.
Oh! (HEY!) we're keepin it strong,
GO RIDERS GO!!!, IN SASKATCHEWAN

From Moose Jaw down to good ol’ P.A.,
Hockey tape holdin’ up my Chevrolet.
Estevan rigs and Weyburn fields,
Oil runs thick, but the pride runs real.

Roll into Waskasieu, sun’s goin’ down,
Firepit burnin’ while we pass it around. ;)
Got the lake, got the skates, got the field, got the plow,
Got a city that rhymes with… well, you get it now!

Flatland flex, we’re built to last,
Winter comes quick, but we ain’t outclassed.
Redneck pride, from dusk ‘til dawn,
Ain’t nothin’ tougher than Saskatchewan!

Oh! (HEY!) We’re the kings of the flat!
Bunny hugs on, with a Pilsner in the back.
Oh! (HEY!) we're keepin it strong,
GO RIDERS GO!!!, IN SASKATCHEWAN

We got cold nights, combines, engines that roar,
Roughrider fans tearin’ down the doors!
Red barn sittin’ where the wheat fields grow,
Got the whole damn province yellin’ "Go, Riders, Go!"

Flat like a griddle, but we rise like the dawn,
Shovelin’ driveways, keepin’ Carhartts on.
Call us small-town? Naw, we call it home,
Put the pedal to the metal, let’s roll!

Oh! (HEY!) We’re the kings of the flat!
Bunny hugs on, with a Pilsner in the back.
Oh! (HEY!) we're keepin it strong,
GO RIDERS GO!!!, IN SASKATCHEWAN
